Fig Leaf Software presents the Google Search Appliance in Toronto and Ottawa, Canada
Bob Segal, Certified Google Enterprise Trainer and Lead Software Developer for Fig Leaf Software, presented a behind the scenes look at the Google Search Appliance (GSA) at two events in Canada last week. The Google Enterprise events were held in Ottawa and Toronto were attended by more than 200 attendees. Bob provided GSA best practices and showed examples of the Google Search Appliance implementations his team had done including Pew Research, the Medical University of South Carolina and Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute.
Bret Peters, Partner and VP of Sales & Marketing for Fig Leaf Software presented about a dozen customer success examples including Datatel (using the Google Search Appliance Sharepoint Connector), the National Institutes of Standards and Technology, the US Senate, the American Red Cross, National Education Association, as well as Citrix (makers of Go-to-Meeting) and Military.com.
Featured speakers for the event included Rajat Mukherjee, Group Product Manager, Search, Google, Inc. as well as speakers from the University of Toronto and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
