Sample .VMX file for converted Sharepoint VHD

Sharepoint 2007 is available as a Microsoft VHD (virtual machine) for you to mess around with. However, the VHD requires Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 which is NOT compatible with Windows 7 :-(

So, to get around this simply convert the VHD to VMWare using a product named WinImage (www.winimage.com). Note that you will need to manually create a VMWare .VXD file that references your VMWare disk. Here's a sample .vxd:
